In summer, the high valley of the Wildschönau offers a magnificent natural and alpine world, and afterwards, to relax tired muscles, the Bergbadl Wildschönau mountain pool at the bottom of the valley. It is located along the St. Francis Path, between the two villages of Oberau and Niederau, and remains open from May to September. The water is heated to an average of 24 degrees C.
Among the offers are a sports pool with jumping platforms, a multi-purpose pool with a water slide, the highlight for children, and a beach volleyball court. Pink elephants in the children's pool and a sandpit and trampoline in the playground await the youngest visitors.
The 1,000 sqm water area of the Mountain Pool Wildschönau is surrounded by a large sunbathing lawn, which also provides shade. For a cool drink or a snack, you can go to the café with terrace, which is part of the leisure complex. Right next to it is the tennis court of Oberau.

The Mountain Pool Wildschönau stays open every day from early May to early September. The opening times may vary in case of bad weather. Bathing season start 2025 on May 10.
Depending on the weather, the start and the end of the bathing season may be extended or shortened with a short-term notice resp. postponed to another day. Please ask in advance!
