At Lake Hechtsee, the largest and deepest one of the lakes around Kufstein, there is an open-air bathing facility on the south-eastern shore. This lido, open from May to September, offers excellent water quality and pleasant water temperatures that reach 24 degrees C in summer.
The Lake Arena (Seearena) has a jetty with a device for easy access, as well as a restaurant and a self-service restaurant, which are also barrier-free. Extensive sunbathing areas and a spacious children's playground with a pirate ship offer a change. In addition, there are opportunities to play table tennis, beach volleyball and water volleyball and a boat rental service.
By the way: At Lake Hechtsee, the Hechtsee X-treme Kufstein is also held. Five different competitions are on the schedule every year in mid-August, including the Austrian and Tyrolean Open Water Swimming Championships. Have fun!
