In Axams, a holiday resort in the west of Innsbruck, you can look forward to an overall experience of well-being. In the Leisure Centre Axams, there was a pool of 29 degrees C warm water, completed by a wild water jet with whirlpool, a rock island, massage jets, and a pool for kids. This indoor pool has been closed in 2023, a project for a new pool is currently being prepared.
Still open are the outdoor pool in summer and the sauna world, that includes a Finnish sauna, Kelo suana, steam bath, tepidarium, and a particularly gentle biologic sauna. In the outdoor area, there are an outdoor pool, diving platforms, a wide water slide and a climbing net. Also a restaurant makes part of the Freizeitzentrum Axams. but then it's time to try something different.
In the surroundings there is also a bouldering hall with a climbing surface of 200 sqm that can be found in the Ruifach Stadium. Between this stadium and the swimming pool, in winter you can try the natural ice skating ground, whereas the curling ground is located near the old sports ground: According to the season and the weather conditions, you can curl on asphalt or on ice.

More information
The opening hours refer to the outdoor swimming pool: It stays open every year from early May to mid-September, weather permitting. Bathing season start 2024 on the 1st of May.
Depending on the weather, the start and the end of the bathing season in Tyrol may be extended or shortened with a short-term notice resp. postponed to another day.
The sauna is accessible every day from 1 pm to 8 pm (Mondays ladies' sauna, except on public holidays). Also 4-hour tickets for the sauna available.
