“Städtisches Freibad Schwarzsee” is the name of the open-air swimming pool on the shore of Lake Schwarzsee, the Black Lake

The well-known Schwarzsee - one of the most beautiful and warmest bathing lakes in Tyrol - is situated in an easily accessible location between Kitzbühel and Reith bei Kitzbühel, a moor lake that warms up to pleasant 27 degrees C in the high summer months.
The water is said to have healing properties - it is of the best quality. Fishing is possible here at Lake Schwarzsee, because pike, zander, carp and tench live in the water. You can see rowing boats and electric boats on the water, and a fitness trail and walking path lead around the lake. There is also a campsite on the shore of the lake, while other parts of the waterfront are designated as nature reserves. And the most popular activity... is swimming!
The Lido Lake Schwarzsee offers a children's pool, a slide, a diving tower, beach volleyball, parasol and deckchair rental and a buffet. By the way, there is a second bathing establishment a little further east, the Strandbad Alpenhotel. The water in the natural bathing lake shimmers green because of the reflecting nature and is not black, as the name might suggest.
