In summer, Lake Reith is a well-visited excursion destination and popular bathing lake. Here you can swim and enjoy the sun's rays, while in winter the nearby Alpbach Adventure Pool is available for water lovers. It is located right behind the church in Reith.
The lido with its large sunbathing lawn, children's play area and paddling pool is located directly on the lake. The water warms up to a pleasant 23 degrees C on midsummer days. A diving board, changing rooms and snacks are also available here, making the lake a refreshing end to a cycling or hiking tour. Otherwise, you can experience the water from a rowing boat.
The walk around the lake also takes you past the western shore: There is a reed belt where water birds find a sheltered place...
