The Adventure Pool ViThal (Erlebnisschwimmbad ViThal) with café includes two things in its name that characterise it: You should and can feel vital here, and Thal-Aue is the village in which the outdoor pool is located. It is a district of the municipality of Assling. In the summer months from June to August it invites you to swim, play and enjoy the sun and summer.
The advantage: The Adventure Pool ViThal is located directly on the well-known Drava Cycle Route and is therefore an ideal stopover during a cycling tour or a special destination if the cycling excursion in East Tyrol should not be too long. It awaits you with a swimmer and a non-swimmer area and a separate paddling pool. Fun and entertainment are provided by the climbing net, the 12 m long wide slide and the many sports facilities: You can play basketball, volleyball, handball, football, badminton and badminton in the Funcourt sports facility.
By the way: In Assling there are two more excursion destinations, the Vitalpinum Wellness Garden and the Adventure World Assling. In the Vitalpinum you can visit a show distillery, in the adventure world you can race down the meadow on the summer toboggan run, visit the Wildlife Park and stop at "Opa's Modelleisenbahn" (Grandpa's model railway). The adventure pool stays open every day from early June to the end of August. The opening times may vary in case of bad weather. Bathing season start 2025 at the end of May resp. in early June.
Depending on the weather, the start and the end of the bathing season may be extended or shortened with a short-term notice resp. postponed to another day. Please ask in advance!
