Zahmer Kaiser Skiing Area - Kaiserwinkl

Family skiing fun on the Zahmer Kaiser in the Kaiserwinkl: 13.5 kilometres of slopes and natural snow

The small Zahmer Kaiser Skiing Area is nestled on the northern slopes of the Kaiser Mountains. It is ideal for beginners, families, and anyone looking to enjoy winter away from the hustle and bustle of large ski centres. A highlight is the Kinderland at the Amberg Lift. A magic carpet, tow lift, and animal figures will delight young skiers. The Walchsee Ski School offers its courses here.

The 13.5 kilometres of slopes at Zahmer Kaiser offer primarily easy descents. The Schmiedereralm race track and the "Freeride Blasenalm" slope are medium difficult. The longest descent covers 1.2 kilometres into the valley. However, to protect the environment, the ski resort opens only when there is sufficient natural snow. It's best to check the snow conditions beforehand.

The lifts also provide convenient access to the 3-kilometre-long Zahmer Kaiser toboggan run - an alternative to the one-hour winter hike. Tobogganing fun is available year-round: Below the new forest playground with climbing frames, toy excavators, and a trampoline, two summer toboggan runs whiz down into the valley in summer. The Zahmer Kaiser Restaurant at the mountain station caters to your needs with Tyrolean specialities, vegetarian options, and panoramic views.
