In winter, Mt. Zahmer Kaiser in the holiday area Kaiserwinkl transforms into a wonderland with 13.5 km of ski slopes

On the northern slopes of the Kaiser Mountains there's the Zahmer Kaiser Skiing Area. It is particularly suitable for beginners, families, and those who would like to enjoy sports on snow, away from the large ski centres. What is worth mentioning is the Ski Kids World at the Amberg Lift: A magic carpet, a mogul slope, a tepee and a snow tunnel are waiting for the children.
Most of the 13.5 km of slopes in the Zahmer Kaiser Skiing Area are easy runs, the Schmiedereralm Race Track and the "Freeride Blasenalm", however, are medium difficult. The longest slope takes you on 1.2 km towards the valley. The popular nighttime skiing is offered twice a week.
The lift facilities take you also to the starting point of the toboggan run Zahmer Kaiser (as an alternative to the 1-hour winter walk), but in the Zahmer Kaiser area, however, you can go tobogganing the whole year round, as in summer you can find the two Walchsee Summer Coasters above the Zahmer Kaiser Game Park. Hungry? The Zahmer Kaiser Restaurant in the Zahmer Kaiser Skiing Area invites you to culinary delicacies with panoramic view...
