St. Jakob im Defereggental Ski Center - East Tyrol

Stunning Grossglockner views and piste fun: The Brunnalm in East Tyrol offers modern lifts and family-friendly slopes

The St. Jakob im Defereggental Ski Center welcomes you with sunny slopes and breathtaking panoramic views of over 60 three-thousand-metre peaks, including the majestic Grossglockner. At an altitude of over 2,000 metres, diverse pistes await, easily accessible with the ski bus. Its Snow Park has made St. Jakob in Defereggen a popular meeting place for snowboarders in East Tyrol. With kickers, rails, boxes, and medium and easy lines, it offers the right challenge for every skill level. The entire ski resort has been awarded the Tyrolean Slope Seal of Quality.

Families, in particular, feel at home on the Brunnalm. Little ones can let off steam in a dedicated children's ski area with a practice lift and age-appropriate slopes. The Brunnalm alpine pasture is also a valued training ground for national ski teams. After an active day on the slopes, replenish your energy with regional, home-style cooking in one of the cosy mountain huts.

Eight lifts whisk you quickly up to the pistes. The new Leppleskofel Chairlift, East Tyrol's highest cable car installation, features heated premium seats and weather protection hoods. Thanks to it, the pistes have been extended by three kilometres and the skiing area's elevation gain has increased by 150 metres. A circular trail with the Ochsenlacke viewing platform offers additional opportunities to enjoy the mountain scenery. The ski center is part of SKI)HIT Carinthia East Tyrol, which also includes the Lienz, Sillian and Grossglockner Resort Kals-Matrei skiing areas.
