Some years ago, the skiing areas of the Alpbachtal valley and the high valley of the Wildschönau were combined with the new ski-lift between Inneralpbach and Mt. Schatzberg. Nowadays, the new established Ski Jewel Alpbachtal Wildschönau offers 93 km of slopes and 16 km of ski routes. With a total of 113 km of ski slopes, it is one of the 10 biggest skiing areas of Tyrol.
Ambitious and skilled skiers choose the 2,128 m high Wiedersberger Horn mountain. There, in spring the "First Line Skiing" is offered for early birds, and the all-year toboggan run Alpbachtaler Lauser-Sauser and the Fun Slope offer heaps of fun. Mt. Reither Kogel, however, is the family-friendly area, with offers for children such as the Juppi Do Kids Park at the valley station and the Brandach Lift for short and flat descents into the valley. And finally there's Mt. Schatzberg...
With its Speed Race Track and the photo point it is very popular among beginners and advanced skiers alike. The Ski Jewel features three snow parks: the Snow Park Alpbachtal, der Family Snow Park Wildschönau and the Race'n'Boarder Arena. Diversity is provided by night-time skiing on Mt. Reither Kogel and night-time tobogganing on the Roggenboden. The cosy refuges invite to a rest.
