The expansive skiing area of Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis, nestled at the foot of the Samnaun Alps, beckons with wide pistes, ample carving space, and a huge variety of runs. 214 kilometres of pistes and twelve powder snow routes offer winter sports enthusiasts diverse enjoyment. All three villages are connected to the ski resort: From Fiss, you can reach the slopes via the Möseralm and Schönjoch Cable Cars, while Ladis is linked to Fiss by the Sonnenbahn. In Serfaus, the Alpkopf Cable Car, the Sunliner, and the modern Komperdellbahn 2.0 whisk you up to the skiing area. The valley stations in Serfaus are easily accessible from the village street via the U-Bahn Serfaus - an air-cushioned hovertrain and self-proclaimed "shortest underground in the world".
The Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis Skiing Area is especially well-suited for families. Childcare is available at the Murmlikrippe at the Serfaus valley station and at Bertas Kindergarten in Fiss. For young skiers, there's the "Bertas Kinderplanet" children's restaurant, Europe's first children's cable car, and the PlayIN indoor play and climbing world located directly at the Komperdellbahn valley station. Awards such as "Most Family-Friendly Region in the Alps" confirm the family-focused offerings. Most of the pistes on the sunny plateau are intermediate, but there are also numerous easy runs as well as challenging black pistes for experts on Mt. Pezid and on Mt. Zwölferkopf.
Six snow parks with airbags and obstacles will thrill snowboarders. If you need a break from skiing, explore the Panorama Enjoyment Trail. Here, surprises like sun loungers and a hammock village await. Attractions like the Schneisenfeger, a popular all-year toboggan run on rails, and the Fisser Flieger on the Möseralm also offer an enjoyable respite. In addition, there are two other toboggan runs. Cross-country skiers exploring the high-altitude trails will find shower and changing facilities at the Take-Off Snow & Fun Center at the Komperdellbahn mountain station.
