The large-capacity ski region at the foot of the Samnaun Alps is known for its wide slopes, the spacious pistes for carving, and the enormous skiable area. Furthermore, there are 12 powder snow routes. It is accessible from the single villages: from Fiss by the Möseralm and Schönjoch Cable Cars, Ladis is connected to Fiss by the Sonnenbahn lift, and the Sunliner, the Alpkopfbahn and the ultramodern Komperdellbahn 2.0 start in Serfaus. A free air cushion funicular, known as "the shortest underground worldwide" takes you from the village road of Serfaus to these lifts.
Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis is an excellent family skiing area with childcare in the Murmlikrippe daycare centre at the Serfaus valley station and Berta's Kindergarten at the Fiss valley station. Also the special restaurant for children "Berta's Children's Planet", the 1st European cable car for kids, and the indoor and climbing world PlayIN at the Komperdell valley station are part of it. Hardly surprising that the Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis Skiing Area has repeatedly been declared "Best child-friendly area of the Alps". Most of the ski slopes on the sunny high plateau are medium difficult, but there are also several easy slopes and the black downhill runs from Mt. Pezid and Mt. Zwölferkopf.
Snowboarders can look forward to a total of six areas with airbags and obstacles which are called Snowpark Serfaus, Fun Slope Serfaus, Snowpark Fiss, Fun Slope Fiss, Shred Park and Sun Park. Fed up with skiing? Why don't you enjoy the Panorama Path with its comfortable loungers and the hammocks village. Also highlights such as the Fisser Flieger and the Family Coaster Schneisenfeger are operating in winter. If you prefer a day on the high-altitude cross-country ski tracks, you can take a shower and change your clothes at the Take-Off Snow & Fun Center at the Komperdell mountain station. The offer is completeted by two 4 km long toboggan runs, which are called Serfaus toboggan run and "Hexen-Rodelbahn" Fiss toboggan run.
