See Skiing Area - Paznauntal

Discover the off-piste slopes at the Rotpleiskopf mountain in the See Skiing Area, part of the Kappl & See Ski Resort

The See Skiing Area in the Paznaun Valley offers around 41 kilometres of pistes and is a more relaxed alternative to the lively Ischgl. Modern lifts, including a 6-person gondola directly from the village centre of See, whisk you up the mountain. The free Paznaun ski bus takes you directly to the lifts. The Silvretta Ski Pass grants you access to all lifts in the Paznaun Valley. Since the 2023/24 winter season, See has also formed a combined ski area with Kappl-Sunny Mountain. Your ski pass is valid for both areas, and a ski bus shuttles between the resorts every 10 to 15 minutes.

A spacious practice area run by the See Ski School awaits children and beginners at the middle station. You'll also find the Kids Club See daycare centre there, which looks after children aged two and above away from the slopes. Snowboarders can let loose in the snow park, complete with halfpipes and freshly groomed daily. There's also a three-kilometre-long mogul slope. A special bonus: You can have your ski boots heated in the ski depot at the Medrigjoch Cable Car.

Night skiing with "Medrig by Night" and a thrilling descent on the six-kilometre-long, floodlit Medrigjoch toboggan run - one of the longest in Tyrol - are essential parts of any See holiday. Since the construction of the Versing Cable Car, the off-piste slopes below the Rotpleiskopf are also accessible. For experts, the black-rated Adrenalin ski route with a 75% gradient awaits.
