Mt. Rangger Köpfl with its flat top, almost 2,000 metres high, rises above Oberperfuss. The free Innsbruck Ski Bus starts at the central station of the city and takes winter sports enthusiasts every hour to Oberperfuss. The first ski lift was inaugurated back in 1967, today, the modern Peter-Anich I Cable Car can be found on the edge of Oberperfuss. The Egghof Lift is located above the village.
From the top you can enjoy a fabulous view on the Mieming, Wetterstein and Karwendel mountain chains, the Kaiser Mountains, the Lechtal and Tux Alps, and the Stubai Glacier. The 17 km of well-groomed ski slopes are ideal for beginners and families alike. A special focus is set on children with the Kids Park, featuring a magic carpet and an exercise lift. Near the mountain station of the cable car, however, there's the Soft Fun Park, the place for snowboarders and freeskiers.
With Stiglreith, Sulzstich and Rosskogel, the skiing area offers also three cosy ski huts. The offer is completed by the 8 km long natural toboggan run, which can be illuminated until midnight. On the toboggan evenings, you can use the two cable cars to Sulzstich to get to the starting point, also nighttime skiing is offered twice a week. Slightly further west, there's a parking space for ski tourers with special fees and their own slope. In the Rangger Köpfl Skiing Area you can use the SKI plus CITY Pass which is valid in 13 skiing areas between the Stubaital valley and Innsbruck.
