Olympic and Ski Region Seefeld

Family fun and snow guarantee on the famous Seefeld Plateau in the Olympiaregion Seefeld

The Olympic Region Seefeld unites the five ski areas of the Seefeld Plateau. Family-friendliness and reliable snow conditions are paramount here. Rosshütte, Gschwandtkopf, Leutasch, Birkenlift & Geigenbühel, and Neuleutasch make up the Olympic Region Seefeld Ski Resort. Seefeld in Tirol itself lies elegantly on a sunny plateau, sheltered by the Wetterstein and the Karwendel Mountains.

The plateau above is known for its dependable snow: Once the snow falls, it generally stays until spring. The sunny Rosshütte Skiing Area on the Härmelekopf is the largest of the five areas. With Sporti's Kinderland, including a slalom course and obstacles, it offers an ideal practice area for children. The Happy Gschwandtkopf Lifte skiing area on the 1,495-metre-high Gschwandtkopf entices visitors with stunning panoramic views and is popular with ski teams for training. For children, there's the "Happy Schleppi" lift and the Pfarrhügel magic carpet.

Among the three smaller ski areas is the one on the Katzenkopf in Leutasch. It scores points particularly for its night skiing and the Katzenkopfhütte toboggan run. The Katzenkopfhütte itself, with its sun terrace, is a wonderful spot with panoramic views over the Leutasch Valley and the North Tyrolean Limestone Alps. Here, you can enjoy Kaiserschmarrn and homemade cakes under the Tyrolean sun. There's also the training area at Birkenlift & Geigenbühel with "Birky's Zauberland" and the snow-tubing run, as well as the sunny practice slope at the Neuleutasch drag lift, also known as the Mardlift. With the Happy Ski Card, you can use all the ski areas.
