Neunerköpfle Skiing Area - Tannheimer Tal

The Tannheimer Bergbahnen high-altitude ski resort is located on the Neunerköpfle, a peak reaching 1,862 metres. This mountain rises southeast of Tannheim in the Allgäu Alps and is easily accessible by the Neunerköpfle Cable Car. The large car park at the valley station, which also serves as a paragliding landing site, is situated on the edge of the village.

Most of the pistes at the Neunerköpfle, one of the three skiing areas open in the valley during winter 2024/25, are easy or intermediate. Only the adrenaline pumping valley run is marked as black, covering almost 1,000 vertical metres. At the practice area with a magic carpet lift and toboggan slope at the valley station, oversized characters from the film "Ice Age" greet children. Here, mammoths and sabre-toothed tigers set the scene. Besides skiing, Tannheim also attracts visitors with its charming alpine huts and cosy atmosphere, for example at the Hubertus Hut or the Gund Mountain Hut, five minutes from the mountain station at 1,820 metres above sea level.

In addition, there's a popular prepared winter hiking trail at the mountain station. It circles the Neunerköpfle and provides interesting information about nature, mountains, and local wildlife. The ski resort is part of the Ski Tannheimer Tal. With this pass, you can also explore the Füssener Jöchle and Schattwald-Zöblen Ski Resorts at the entrance to the valley during the 2024/25 season.
