Christlum Skiing Area - Achensee

Just a few hundred metres from Lake Achensee, you'll find the valley station of the Hochalm Cable Cars with the Christlum Express, which whisks you up to the snow-sure ski resort at 1,800 metres above sea level. From Innsbruck and Munich, you can reach the Christlum Skiing Area in about an hour - ideal for a weekend in the snow. The 27 kilometres of slopes on the western flank of the Karwendel Mountains offer guaranteed snow thanks to their altitude and snow-making facilities.

Whether you prefer carving, mogul slopes, or FIS-certified runs, everyone will find the perfect descent here. Relax and recharge your batteries in the Christlum Lounge. Didn't bring your equipment? No problem! Three ski hire shops and two ski schools are available. The Hochalm Cable Cars in Achenkirch regularly offer a tobogganing evening and special ski rates, including the "Learning-Free Zone", a day ticket for pupils and students, a family day, a special ladies' day and men's day, as well as the "Fountain of Youth" for anyone over 50.

In 2024, the Christlum on the shores of Lake Achensee received several awards from the SkiArea test portal: In addition to the "Most Popular Ticket Office Team" and the "Gold Snowmaking Trophy", the skiing area has also been awarded the "International Double Gold Slope Quality Seal" and the "International Tobogganing Quality Seal".
