Where the Spertental valley enters the Brixental valley, there is the holiday resort Kirchberg in Tirol with its "Vitalarena", a 88 km large network of Nordic Walking and running trails. It takes you through the valley and into the world of mountains of the Kitzbühel Alps. A popular photo motif, however, is the local parish church with Mt. Gaisberg in the background.
In the nearby Spertental valley, a natural reserve, there's the Aschau Kneipp Facility featuring the Spertental Kneipp Water. Surrounded by a unique panorama, it offers a classical Kneipp basin, a drinking fountain, and a facility for foot reflexology. Furthermore, for little guests there is a separate Kneipp area for children with a playground - an interesting additional offer.
In the snow-filled winter months, in Kirchberg winter dreams come true. Above all horse drawn sleigh rides are very popular. Furthermore, there are four cross-country ski tracks and the toboggan run Gaisberg, which stays illuminated twice a week. The chairlift takes you comfortably to the starting point. On the mountains, however, the KitzSki Kitzbühel-Kirchberg opens its doors, a connection of the Jochberg and the Resterhöhe Skiing Areas featuring the mythic "Streif" slope.
