Erpfendorf is a component locality of Kirchdorf in Tirol, but has got its own school and church. The popular holiday resort is surrounded by the breathtaking mountains of the Wilder Kaiser mountain chain and the Kitzbühel Alps, and is appreciated for its calm and idyllic position.

In summer, Erpfendorf is a fantastic place for improving your golf skills. Here you may choose between the 6-hole Golf Academy and the 9-hole golf course of the Golf & Countryclub Lärchenhof Erpfendorf. Also horse riders and hikers appreciate the village. Afterwards, you can revitalize your muscles in the Erpfendorf Kneipp Facility, located only 150 m from the church square.

In winter, Erpfendorf seems to be surrounded by skiing areas: Besides the Lärchenhof Erpfendorf Ski Lift in the village, near the above mentioned golf course, and the small Kirchdorf Skiing Area - both are connected to the 3 Country Leisure Arena -, in the region there are also the SkiStar St. Johann in Tirol, the Steinplatte Skiing Area and the KitzSki Kitzbühel-Kirchberg.
