Of course, Tyrol offers a large number of possibilities to practice this sport: There are e.g. artificial ice rinks, ice stadiums (in the picture the OlympiaWorld Innsbruck), indoor ice rinks, or even frozen lakes such as Lake Haldensee in North Tyrol and Lake Tristach in East Tyrol, the Black Lake near Kitzbühel and Lake Lans in the surroundings of Innsbruck.
And in case you might not have ice skates, you can rent them at nearly every ice rink. In the sports centre of Telfs, there is the largest ice surface of Tyrol, including an indoor and outdoor area.
