Directly adjacent to the Oetz Adventure Pool in the Oetztal valley, there's WIDI's Kids Park, one of the largest (and free) playgrounds of Tyrol featuring an area of 3,000 sqm. Mostly with Robinia wood, a huge paradise for kids has been created here. And why is it called WIDI? WIDI, a cute mountain sheep, is the mascot of the region.
10 stations playfully thematise the topic "On the trails of the miners", because mining has influenced the entire Oetztal valley for centuries. A hammer and pick swing, a climbing maze, a gold balance seesaw, and a gold mining spot can be found here among others. Across the Miners' Bridge, however, the older discoverers come to the high tunnel slide.
Clearly separated zones for toddlers and older kids offer play equipment for all ages. Finally a cosy fireplace invites to take a rest, and the adjacent café of the swimming pool offers refreshments. The entire area of WIDI's Kids Park Oetz is suitable for prams.
