"Mountains for Imps" is the motto in the Wichtel Park in Sillian in East Tyrol (Wichtelpark Sillian, literally: Gnome Park Sillian), where the little gnomes rule. But this does not mean the fairy tale characters, but the little visitors, who can really be children here. The leisure park is idyllically situated along the Drava Cycle Route, a 366 km long cycle path from Italy to Slovenia.
From May to October, a small bumper car area and the Imps Train await the smaller children, while the older ones can enjoy the 30 m long tube slide, the log houses, and the double tower facility. Furthermore there's the Gnome Water World by the Wonkey Tonkey River Heinfels, where adventurers can build canals, send ships off to the high seas or embark on the search for the treasured gold nuggets. Afterwards you may relax on the specially set up lounging area.
The offer is completed by the high rope course and the 18-hole minigolf course. Hungry? At the park there is also a kiosk and a covered barbecue area. The Wichtel Park can be best reached via the so-called Gnome Mile (Wichtelmeile), which leads from Sillian to the leisure park. In 2024, the new Forest Gnome Trail or Waldwichtelweg with Willi, the little gnome, has been added.
