A large castle made of spruce wood with four walkable towers rises in the middle of the Rosenalm in the Zillertal valley

Some years ago, an adventure playground with water games and sand pits was opened in the mountains of the Zillertal valley. On the 5,000 sqm large area there's a special highlight: the Spruce Tree Castle (Fichtenschloss), where the kids can play knights, lords and damsels.
The Rosenalm, an alp located at 1,744 m a.s.l., is accessible by the Rosenalm Cable Car from Zell am Ziller in a few minutes. The impressive up to 18 metres high castle can be seen already from the valley. Also its four towers are really special: The slide tower, climbing tower, crane tower and observation tower make hearts leap for joy.
All this is completed by a ball run, a forest of hammocks, a treetop path at a height of 10 metres, and a barbecue area where you can prepare your own meal. New is the Spruce Tree Lake, or Fichtensee in German, with its SUP rental, diving platforms and the Pixie Cove. At the valley station of the Rosenalm Cable Car, however, the adventurous Arena Coaster Zillertal is located.
