Pillersee Family World

In St. Jakob in Haus, in the lower Pillersee Valley, there is an adventure park that boasts more than 40 attractions

A big children's dream comes true on a surface of 20,000 sqm in St. Jakob in Haus in the Pillersee Valley. Here you can try out more than 40 attractions in the popular Pillersee Family World (Familienland Pillersee), including a narrow gauge railway, the Wave Glider, a unique rafting lane and the "Big Bang", with 22 metres Austria's highest family roller coaster.

For those who prefer less adventure, there's a petting zoo with goats, chicken, rabbits and guinea pigs. Inside the facility, however, the children can also play if the weather is bad. And in the indoor climbing gym, there are 60 climbing routes for adults and kids as well as slack lines, trampolines, an area for bouldering, and a rock bar called "Felsenbar". New in 2024, however, is "Peppo's Kinderbaustelle", a construction site for children where they can enjoy themselves.

Some years ago, the Pillersee Family World has been enlarged by the Death Sea Grotto. On 140 sqm, impressive 40,000 kg salt of the Death Sea are spread on the walls and floor, and provide a micro climate that normally only prevails at the seaside. The salt has a beneficial impact on people suffering from allergies, skin disorders, stress, circulatory and respiratory diseases.
