How bees distinguish the flowers? How is life as a butterfly? These and other interesting questions are answered in the Magic Forest of Sautens (Zauberwald Sautens) in the Oetztal valley. Together with the WIDIversum it is one of the favorite places of the mascot WIDI, the mountain sheep.

During a pleasant walk families pass 11 stations in total. Kids get to know how the forest animals live, what they are able to do, and why it is so important to protect them. In between, the "Drei-Kirchen-Blick" (Three Churches View) offers a fantastic view. The 10th station is a skill course.

The theme path starts at the elementary school in Sautens, and proceeds along a comfortable forest path - and partly on asphalt - until the woodland playground. There the children can let off steam before you come back to the starting point again. The walking time is about one hour. The Magic Forest Sautens is suitable for prams.
