On the Eggalm alpine pasture on the Hintertux Glacier, a play park offers entertainment for big and small children in summer

The Eggalm Cable Car takes you comfortably to the mountain station at 1,950 m a.s.l., where a children's park with various play stations has been built directly in the Tux Alps. The spacious facility is called ''Almspielerei'' (from Alm = alpine pasture, and spielen = playing) - and playing is also the focus here. The centre of the Almspielerei Eggalm is the large water pond with pull boat and play raft, ideal on days in mid-summer when it can still get really hot even at this altitude.
A slackline leads from one bank to the other. In addition, there are more water games, a boulder walll and wooden alpine animals for the children, and relaxing loungers for the parents to enjoy.
In the immediate vicinity is the Eggalm Mountain Hut with its sun terrace. By the way: You can combine a visit to the Almspielerei Eggalm with the Eggalm Hiking Rally, a circular hike in this wonderful mountain world with a puzzle pass and gift.
