This pleasant valley hike in the lower Stubaital valley leads us until Mutters near Innsbruck

Our tour starts in Fulpmes in the Stubaital valley (940 m a.s.l.). We walk through the village centre and follow the asphalted path towards Telfes in the Stubaital valley. From there we walk along the road, which runs parallel to the Stubaital Railway to the Telfes Meadows (Telfer Wiesen), gentle rolling larch meadows on the hillside, which is located above the gorge of the Rio Ruetz.
We leave the asphalt behind us and walk now along a forest path, which proceeds first slightly downhill and then up to the "Telfer Wiesen" train station of the Stubaital Railway. At about 1,000 m a.s.l. we walk towards north to the hamlet of Kreith. There we follow the little asphalt road, which leads us through meadows and past hamlets to the beautiful village of Mutters at 830 m a.s.l., which is located above the basin of Innsbruck. Although the hike was easy, until here it was 12.3 km long though. Those who are tired now, can go back by the Stubaital Railway.
