16 stages take you on your mountain bike across the mountains of Tyrol, from Nauders in the west to Lake Walchsee in the east
Tyrol Mountain Bike Safari, or Bikeschaukel Tirol, is the name of the 780 km long tour by mountain bike through the unforgettable Tyrolean mountains. It leads through North Tyrol in 16 stages, but remains flexible in terms of the chosen effort: 15,000 of the total 32,000 metres in altitude can be mastered if desired using a total of 21 lifts that also offer bike transport.
To give concrete examples: Stage 1 starts in Nauders near the Reschen Pass, and leads over a length of 46 km to Pfunds. And so the journey continues, across the Inn Valley, past Seefeld in Tirol, Steinach am Brenner and Mayrhofen in the Zillertal valley. The Tyrol Mountain Bike Safari shows you the beauty of Lake Achensee (in the picture) as well as the unspoilt Alpbachtal valley. Afterwards, the final stage takes you for 45 km from St. Johann in Tirol to Lake Walchsee...
