Food and drinks

Holidays in Tyrol do not only stand for days in the mountains, but also for delicious treats for your palate

Cheese and bacon are often still produced directly at the farms, furthermore the mountains huts offer delicacies such as dumplings and goulash from the deer. In the valleys, however, you may choose between traditional family-owned inns and awarded gourmet restaurants. And why don't you visit a local farmers' market before heading straight into the mountains? Not only fresh fruit and vegetables are offered, but also sweet elder juice, homemade bread and selfmade cake.
