Also the Stubaital valley features its own Summer Coaster: the one of Mieders, the steepest summer toboggan run in the Alps

On Mt. Serles, also called Waldrastspitze, a 2,717 m high mountain in the Stubaital valley, the summer toboggan run Mieders awaits you. On its slope, 40 steep turns were realised on a distance of 2.8 km, overcoming a total of 640 metres in altitude until the finish.
The Serlesbahnen Mieders lift facilities takes you comfortably up to 1,620 m a.s.l. and to the start of the summer toboggan run, called Serlesblitz (Serles Flash). From there the ride down the mountain starts at a speed of up to 42 kmph to the valley station at 980 m a.s.l. Already during the ascent by cable car you can watch those who are racing down on their sledges.
The Serles-Koppeneck area is also a beautiful hiking area with numerous paths and excursion destinations. These include the Maria Waldrast Pilgrimage Church and the nearby Koppeneck tavern, which invites you to take a break on the sun terrace.

The season has ended, the Summer Coaster Mieders operates every year from May to early November, in late autumn only in case of fine weather. Season start 2025 in mid-May.
