Some 2 km in the west of Natters there is popular Lake Natters, that's to say the lake of the village, called Natterer See in German. Despite of its moor water, it is characterised by excellent water quality and is inhabited by a large number of carp species.
In summer, the lake features pleasant water temperatures of about 22 degrees C. The bathing establishment on its shores awaits you with a water park and a kayak school as well as many other activities to enjoy Lake Natters and its surroundings. In winter, however, the frozen lake invites you for ice skating, ice hockey and curling, with a sauna hut on its shores.
Also the surroundings of Lake Natters have got much to offer for those who love to be active: There are numerous paths for joggers, Nordic Walkers and hikers. Another popular activity is trampolining, crossbow shooting, archery and air pistol shooting. Table tennis, beach volley, badminton and boccia complete the sports offer in the surroundings of the lake.
