In the commercial zone Vorderes Oetztal in Umhausen, right next to the main road, a small private museum has opened its doors: The Route 59 Oldtimer Museum displays cars built from around 1959 onwards. The project was born from the passion for these cars, which lasted 45 years before the gems were made accessible to the public.
Now you can immerse yourself in a world where classic cars - US cars, Italian and French vehicles as well as German models - are exhibited which are between 30 and 70 years old. Cars that are still fun to drive. In addition, there are vintage bikes, youngtimers, tuning show cars, various original movie cars and 10 different Opel Calibras. But it doesn't end there...
The passion for collecting runs right through the themed areas, so you will also find the largest Assassins Creed collection in the world and 60 life-size movie figures in the rooms. There are also 1,500 model cars, a nativity scene museum, an original radio station from 1952 and a complete shoe workshop from 1900. The museum is open most of the year, for a break there is an American Diner at the Oldtimer Museum Route 59. Have fun discovering it!
