Description
The world’s fastest athletes on natural track will slide into Kühtai as FIL, the International Luge Federation, will host the Natural Track Luge World Championships in mid-January.
Three years ago, a completely new natural luge track was erected in Kühtai. In December 2023, the new, 730-meter long natural luge track successfully held its World Cup premiere. In January 2025, Kühtai is ready to welcome the natural track luge world.
The action-packed event will begin with training runs on Friday, January 17, 2025, at 09:00am. Qualification runs will be held on Saturday at 10:00am, followed by the first final runs in the afternoon. The last final runs as well as the award-giving ceremony will take place on Sunday at 2:15pm. Moreover, the event features a track full of amazing activities including entertainment, local food options and so much more for the whole family to enjoy!
