Description

The area around Thaur and Absam is often called "Austria's largest vegetable garden". 60% of all radishes grown in Austria, along with many other types of vegetables, are cultivated here in the "North Tyrolean Vegetable Culinary Region". The harvest is celebrated at the annual Radish Festival in Hall's old town with music, local delicacies, and of course, radishes.
