Basically, if you can walk, you can snowshoe. Snowshoeing can be enjoyed by people of all ages and levels of physical fitness. It isn’t just for serious athletes, it’s a winter sport that almost anyone can enjoy. However, a word of caution, all backcountry travellers should check avalanche conditions before entering the backcountry in winter. The surroundings of Pertisau have exceptionally scenic snowshoeing trails. Explore a variety of terrain while learning backcountry skills and techniques from instructors who are passionate about the sport of snowshoeing. With an emphasis on instruction, participants will join fully certified guides for two days in the amazing backcountry terrain of Pertisau. Spend two full days learning terrain assessment and avalanche rescue techniques with airbags, probes, shovels and transceivers while refining your snowshoeing skills. Undisputed highlight is the tour that draws this adventure to a close on Sunday.
