A spectacular 3.5 km long Alpine Coaster snakes its way across the landscape in Imst

Take a seat and don't forget to fasten your belts! A ride in the Alpine Coaster is a breathtaking experience. The start takes place at the Untermarkter Mountain Hut on 1,500 m a.s.l. Exciting 9 minutes are coming up during the ride, and these minutes are not for the faint-hearted.
Sharp curves, 25 waves and 16 jumps 6 metres down are only some of the exciting elements that are included in the 3.5 km long ride. The top speed that can be achieved is about 40 kmph... oh wow! But don't worry: The sleds have been established compliant with the highest safety standards and are equipped with an easy to use brake. You can also enjoy this breathtaking experience in case of bad weather, as the sleds are equiped with a cover.
And how to reach the Alpine Coaster? Take the double-seated chair lift from Hoch-Imst. Some rules for the little pilotes: Children aged 3+ can ride in the Alpine Coaster accompanied by an adult, children aged 8+ and 1.25 m tall are allowed to ride alone, and children aged 14+ can are also allowed to ride in two. Furthermore, in the finish area there is Albin's playing area with a trampoline, a bungy trampoline, a quad lane, a vast sandbox, slides and swings.

The Alpine Coaster Imst operates in summer and in winter (Christmas and semester holidays) and adapts to the seasons of the Imster Bergbahnen, closed in winter (early January to early February), in spring (end of February to April) and in autumn (early November until Christmas).
The opening hours depend on the weather and the icing and could change in the short-term. Winter season start 2024/25 on December 25, summer season start 2025 in early May.
